Characteristics

The Torque Index Table is an electronic alternative to a mechanical rotary index table. The principle behind this product is that of a linear motor with the components arranged in a circular geometry. The Fixed part (stator) is integrated into the Torque Tables housing, while the rotating component (rotor) is applied as a magnetic drum that is affixed to the table rotating bearing. This means that this is a “direct drive system”, wherein the power is transferred directly to rotary component without the aid of gears or gear boxes or other transmissions.

The advantages of the Torque Index Tables are:  higher value of acceleration – faster speeds –  greater precision –  total absence of backlash. Other advantages are: a large center hole –  possibility of reprogramming and thus reapplying the Torque Index Table without limitations. The unit is supplied to be driven by any controller and motor manufacturer.
